Continuing our holiday season tradition, I am sponsoring a free ice skating event for the children in our community at Abe Stark Rink in Coney Island on Tuesday, December 29th. The event runs from 9 a.m. to noon, and the rink is located on West 19th Street between Surf Avenue and the Boardwalk.
We always have a great time on the ice, and if you look at my Flickr page, you’ll see plenty of pictures from the last few events.
Joining me in sponsoring the event are Congressman Jerrold Nadler, Senator Diane Savino, Assemblyman Alec Brook-Krasny, the New York City Parks Department, the Greater New York Ice Hockey League and Abe Stark.
