This morning I was proud to join American Ballet Theater and the Brooklyn Academy of Music as they announced a five-year partnership that will bring The Nutcracker, by renowned choreographer Alexei Ratmansky, to Brooklyn. The partnership will begin next year, and I’m excited to see these two fantastic cultural institutions working together on a holiday classic. American Ballet Theater is one of the best dance organizations in the city, and BAM will provide a great stage for The Nutcracker.
